All 5**** - the reviews of The Gruffalo are all five star

How superb! My daugher of 19 months totally adores it, we can't wait to buy the dvd. The cast is superb too. Excellent all round family film.

Who would have guessed that this book could have been transformed so fantastically into this amazing timeless film! None of the magic has been lost, in fact if anything it seems more exciting! My two children loved watching this on Christmas day and we have watched it every day since! All the character voices are cast perfectly...and Robbie Coltrane as the Gruffalo was inspired! My personal favourite is Rob Brydon as snake...I just can't get Uncle Bryn from Gavin and Stacey out of my head! Fantastic for all the family!!!

---------------

My whole family watched this Christmas day.....and everyone enjoyed it (my family is usually hard to please lol!) Really lovely adaption of the book!

Totally agree with Alexterry, amazing adaptation of the book, my girls age 3 and 7 both LOVED it, so did i come to mention it and my 2 adult friends that were here at the time! Pre ordered my copy and cant wait to have i as a keep sake.

This was screened by the BBC on Christmas Day. It's now boxing Day and I've seen it three times already...

It is a superb adaptation of the book, the animation, story telling and voice talents of the cast make for a truly memorable experience.

A stand out performance has to be John Hurt as the owl.

This is a must for any fans of the original book and will ensure hours of enjoyment for all ages, and will undoubtedly ensure legions of news fans.

I'm sure if my 2 1/2yr old could write his own review he'd give it 'two thumbs up' as well.
